Welcome to my world! Welcome to my mind, my soul, my love.

As much as I feel tempted to claim I wrote the lines above, I also know a simple Google search would quickly expose me as a liar. So I'll confess, it' a quote. It's the chorus from "My World", a hauntingly beautiful futurepop/synthpop song by Colony 5:



I know, I know. Posting some damn lyrics or quotes is a lame way of telling everyone you actually didn't have anything to say yourself.

But hey, not really.

Sometimes a well chosen quote is the best way to express your own thoughts and feelings. Someone has already said what you wanted to say, just more eloquently, so why not use their words instead of your own if they actually get your point across? Why reinvent the wheel?


There are billions of different songs in this world. Out of them all, I chose this one. Why?

Maybe, just maybe, this song and the lyrics I quoted actually do tell you something about me or this blog. If nothing else, they at least give you a hint at my musical tastes. ;)
